NEW Students

KINDERGARTEN: If your child did not attend an SCS Pre-K program, please refer to our Kindergarten enrollment information.

ENTERING GRADES 1-12: If your child has never attended an SCS school, please contact his/her zoned school to begin the registration process. Find your assigned school here.

TRANSFERS / SCHOOL CHOICE: If your child is new to SCS and will not be attending his/her zoned school, he/she must have an approved school choice transfer application. Find your assigned school here. Get school choice info here.

WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER:

• An active email address is required to register online. Don’t have one? Try a free site like Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail.
• You must have two (2) approved proofs of residence. Additional information is required if you share a residence. See requirements here.
• Students must be up to date on required immunizations and physicals or have an approved exemption on file to attend school. See requirements here.

NEW STUDENTS WHO ATTENDED AN OUT-OF-STATE OR NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL MUST HAVE:

• TN Dept. of Health Immunization Certificate with proof of physical
• Two (2) approved forms of proof of residence
• Student’s Social Security Card (preferred, not required)
