NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Garnett Miller is a family nurse practitioner. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Union University in Jackson, TN. She has more than 35 years of clinical experience in healthcare. Her focus is wellness, with a strong emphasis on the provider and patient working together to produce positive outcomes. She practices at the Hollywood Wellness Clinic, where she provides primary and occupational care to her patients. Her passion is educating future practitioners. She has mentored more than 100 students from various colleges and universities. In addition, she is currently an adjunct clinical nursing faculty member for Southwest Community College. In this role, she shares her extensive knowledge with her students. Her ability to effectively collaborate with her healthcare team is one of her greatest assets.

Stacey Phillips is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 18 total years of nursing experience. She obtained her BSN in 2004 and MSN in 2008 both from University of Memphis. She has nursing experience in cardiology and intensive care and has practiced as a NP the past 14 years in both Family Practice and Urgent Care settings. She has worked for the Methodist Healthcare system for the past 5 years. She transferred to the MSCS Employee Health Clinic in 2022 where she performs physicals, as well as, treats patients who are sick or injured on the job. In her off time, Stacey enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Megan Ray is a two-time graduate of University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice. She started her nursing career at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital as a registered nurse in the Neuroscience Institute. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, Megan has worked in the primary care setting before joining the MSCS Family Care Center. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outside.

Shaunta Roane has served in the nurse practitioner role for 3.5 years. Her job duties include, but not limited to the following: Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical and psychosocial history, examine, diagnose, and treat patients, and develop a plan with the patient to improve health outcomes. As a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she attained a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Shaunta's passion grew for health and wellness. She feels that the best part about her job is directly caring for patients to help them feel better. Outside of the clinic, her hobbies are exercising, reading, and listening to music.

C'sara Strong is a family nurse practitioner with a Masters of Nursing from Mississippi University for Women and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her zeal for healthcare quality is evidenced by recently attaining a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt. C'sara's favorite part of her job is participating in patient education. C'sara enjoys playing the piano, reading books and experimenting with new recipes in her spare time.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANTS

Domiaique Blakley-Davis is a graduate of Concorde Career College where she obtained a certification as a Medical Assistant. Currently, she serves as a Clerical Medical Assistant at Memphis Shelby County Schools Family Care Center. Her goal is to become a nurse practitioner. Domiaique is also a recent graduate of DCI Academy where she attained her license as a cosmetologist. She is the mother of four beautiful teenage children who are her greatest inspirations. Because of them, she shared that she is motivated to face all obstacles that may occur. Armed with a passion for working in customer service, Domiaique always keeps a smile on her face.

Delmarco Boyland is a Certified Medical Assistant. He has been with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare for almost two years. His job duties consist of providing clinical care, diagnostic procedures and other ancillary tasks. What he likes best about his job is that it revolves around the interactions with many different patients that he comes in contact with each day. His favorite hobbies are going to the gym and lifting weights.

Karlisha Henderson joined Methodist Affiliated on January 6, 2016, as a Medical Clerical Assistant. Prior to this position she worked as a Medical Assistant/Health Screener. During her six years at Methodist, she has excelled and moved into various positions throughout the system. Karlisha is a graduate of Southwest Tennessee Community College where she majored in Computer Science. Her career path as an Associate at Methodist has presented opportunities to save and change someone’s life one patient at a time. When she is not busy with immediate family, you can find her helping coworkers and friends in her community.

Nadiah Lawrence has six years of Medical Assistant experience. Her specialty is postpartum, antepartum, and neonatal ICU care. She enjoys taking care of patients and making sure they receive the best care. She prides herself on taking care of patients as if they were her family members. Providing optimal care is number one on her list. During her free time, she enjoys learning new recipes on YouTube, attempting new hairstyles on her siblings and traveling.

Jeanie Meeks has been in the medical field for 30 years as a phlebotomist/medical assistant. She has also participated in health screenings since 2013. She considers it her pleasure to be a part of the team that ensures the patient gets the care that they need. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and tending to her outside flower garden.

Tiffany Wade has been a Certified Medical Assistant for nine years. She has been employed with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare for six of those years. Her favorite past times are spending time with her family, attending church, traveling and retail therapy. Tiffany feels that the most enjoyable part of her job, which she considers a ministry, is being a part of the patient's healing process.

Charlisa Wright has been a medical assistant at the MSCS Family Care Center for four years. Her job duties include answering telephones, triaging patients, assessing vitals and providing patient care. She works closely with the nurse practitioners to make sure that great patient care occurs. Focusing on clinic flow and timely visits, Charlisa makes sure that all patients are cared for in a prompt manner. In her spare time, she enjoys indulging in her favorite hobby, braiding hair.
