Mission

Driving student achievement and district funding by establishing effective disciplinary and attendance protocols district-wide.
 

Vision

Our restorative practices and attendance initiatives will be the catalysts that results in a district that is full of intrinsically motivated students who are present and engaged for the sake of learning.
 

Goals

Establish and develop ongoing attendance and discipline related professional development opportunities for 100% of MSCS’s school administrators and attendance staff. Implement tailored data driven school supports (i.e., training, incentive programs, etc.) that are designed to equip schools with tools that reduce chronic absenteeism rates. Regularly correct and monitor district-wide attendance and discipline data for 100% of schools, to maintain compliance that drives state and federal district funding.
