Procurement Services is primarily responsible for giving priority status to the needs of the pupils in Shelby County Schools and obtaining the maximum value for each dollar expended. Procurement Services’ personnel is to consider the interest of the school system and the betterment of its educational programs. The Director of the Procurement Services, along with staff, performs a broad spectrum of functions as required in coordinating all phases of centralized purchasing within established Board Policy and procedures governing the procurement of goods and services for Shelby County Schools.
