District 3: Egypt Elementary Enjoys a Snow-Filled Competition

During the district’s snow day on Friday, Jan. 10, Egypt Elementary School challenged its students to build the best snowman. Families messaged the school’s Facebook page sporting their best pictures alongside their snowman. The post had to include the student and teacher’s name for a chance to win a prize based on the most likes. Given this opportunity, students took to social media to show off their best craftsmanship.

Opportunities such as these help engage scholars, especially during a small break such as a snow day. Egypt Elementary is helping to foster a positive learning community through engaging social media initiatives. Their prize will help leverage student engagement within the classroom.
