The holiday season was in full swing at Wells Station Elementary as students and staff came together to spread cheer and celebrate Mr. Grinch Spirit Day. The event, a highlight of the school’s seasonal festivities, saw a wave of Grinch-inspired outfits that brought a splash of green, fun, and creativity to campus.
Leading the charge was Assistant Principal Richardson, who fully embraced the theme by donning a playful green ensemble that channeled the mischievous yet lovable character from the classic holiday tale. Richardson’s outfit drew smiles and laughter as she joyfully twinned with a group of enthusiastic Roadrunners, each showcasing their own unique Grinch-themed looks. From Santa hats and green fur to creative Grinchy accessories, the students and staff displayed their holiday spirit in style.
The excitement extended beyond the costumes, as the school’s hallways were buzzing with laughter, holiday music, and camaraderie. Teachers joined in the festivities as well, incorporating the holiday spirit into their lessons and classroom activities.
Mr. Grinch Spirit Day is just one of several great events as Wells Station continues to foster a sense of joy and togetherness during this special time of year. As the students and staff reflected on the day’s celebrations, one thing was clear – the Grinch might have a heart two sizes too small, but the Roadrunner community’s holiday spirit is larger than life!
