Today marked a significant milestone at Power Center Academy Hickory Hill Middle School as the school proudly inducted its largest cohort of VIP Scholars since the program began three years ago. Sixty-three remarkable students stood up and declared, “I’ll be the example!” Each scholar committed to excelling in academics, behavior, attendance, and leadership, choosing to let their own light shine to inspire others.

The celebration brought together parents, teachers, and the community, creating a heartfelt atmosphere filled with pride. The VIP program not only recognizes hard work but also rewards these scholars with exciting perks. They enjoy out-of-uniform days on Fridays, free admission to home games, priority for meals, quarterly school trips, and exclusive activities like food truck days and game truck events. Each scholar also sports VIP swag and carries a pseudo VIP credit card for special treats.
