2024 Senior Spotlight: Kaylie H. - Germantown High School

Kaylie’s journey through high school at Germantown High in Memphis has been remarkable. A Memphis native, Kaylie has excelled academically, has been deeply involved in various extracurricular activities, and has overcome significant challenges. While at Germantown High, Kaylie immersed herself in multiple clubs and activities, showcasing her commitment to her school and community. 

From serving in the Student Government Association to being an active member of Bridge Builders and the Memphis Teen River Parks Association, Kaylie’s commitment to making a positive impact has remained steadfast. Her involvement in organizations like Health Occupational Students of America (HOSA), Best Buddies, Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO), National Honor Society, and National Technical Honor Society highlights her diverse interests and leadership abilities.

Kaylie has demonstrated incredible dedication and willpower to succeed. Her journey has been marked by overcoming personal challenges and societal barriers while maintaining a stellar academic record.

Kaylie’s academic achievements speak volumes about her dedication and hard work. She has accumulated more than $50,000 in scholarships, a testament to her academic excellence and leadership qualities. Beyond academics, Kaylie has pursued her passion for nursing. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and major in Nursing. Equipped with certifications in CPR, Physical Therapy Aide, and Basic Life Support (BLS), Kaylie is ready to contribute significantly to healthcare. Kaylie’s story is one of triumph over adversity, a testament to the strength of dedication and willpower.
