Meet Dantrielle, a senior at Middle College High School and proud native Memphian whose journey is a testament to resilience and determination toward academic excellence. Throughout her high school career, Dantrielle has been actively involved in a multitude of clubs and activities, including the Delta Beta Queens, Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) Program, Bridge Builders, Softball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Student Government Association. Outside of school, she has dedicated herself to numerous community service initiatives, including participating in the Good Samaritan Outreach Ministries.
Despite facing significant challenges, including the loss of her maternal grandmother in 2020 and her grandfather more recently, Dantrielle has continued to persevere and excel academically. Transitioning to virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic presented additional hurdles, but she navigated them with resilience and determination. Her dedication to her studies and extracurricular activities has earned her recognition as an AP Scholar, placing her in the top 10 of her graduating class.
Looking ahead, Dantrielle is eager to embark on the next chapter of her academic journey with plans to attend Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, where she’ll major in Medical Laboratory Science. She is poised to make a significant impact in the field of healthcare. Her determination to overcome adversity and make a positive impact on the world serves as an inspiration to all who know her.
