Memphis-Shelby County Schools is #Reimagining901 with a new, hands-on internship program for juniors and seniors!
As the second largest employer in the metro area, the District employs professionals from many different industries. In addition to 6,000 teachers, the MSCS family includes accountants, carpenters, radio broadcasters, counselors, attorneys, law officers, nurses, IT specialists, and many, many others.
Through the new MSCS Internship Program (Power 1,000), participating students will work alongside district leaders and corporate partners to gain valuable career skills and experience that aligns with their interests.
***In order to ensure one internship opportunity per applicant, if you have been accepted as an intern with either the SCS Tutoring Internship Program through Peer Power or the MSCS Internship Program Summer Cohort, you will not be eligible to apply for the MSCS Internship Program Spring Cohort.
