Earlier this week, several students at South Park Elementary were recognized for having a perfect attendance record for the 3rd 20-Day Period. Besides getting such recognition, their accomplishment was celebrated with a special event.
According to the school, the students were able to enjoy delicious snow cones with different flavors during a “Snowball Soirée” on Monday afternoon. Assistant Principal Tara Edwards, Pre-K Educational Assistant Maria Moore, and Ms. Lark were there to prepare the snow cones.
Perfect attendance in school is a significant achievement that reflects a student’s consistent commitment to being present and engaged in their education. It means the student attended school every day, without missing any days for sickness, vacations, or other reasons.
We all know that in order to have an excellent attendance record, it often requires dedication to schoolwork and a good work ethic. It also requires strong parental support and guidance, as parents should be able to commit towards their children’s academic progress and success.
Congratulations to the students that got their well-deserved recognition this week! Keep up the good work and learn a lot!
