Memphis, TN – October 14, 2024 – In honor of National Principals Month, we proudly celebrate Principal Charisse Wooding of Kingsbury Career & Technology Center in District 2 for her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to students and staff. Recently, Principal Wooding had the distinguished honor of welcoming Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and Superintendent Dr. Marie N. Feagins during their visit to Kingsbury CTC, where students showcased their talents, skills, and passion for future careers.

The visit highlighted the dynamic programs Kingsbury CTC offers – programs that equip students with real-world skills and prepare them for success in college and beyond. Whether through hands-on learning in technical fields or career-focused projects, the students demonstrated the value of their hard work in an environment that nurtures growth and achievement.
A beloved feature of the Kingsbury CTC community is Principal Wooding’s weekly newsletter, “Wooding’s Word.” In her latest message, she praised the students and staff for their dedication, emphasizing the importance of perseverance. “Stay focused and finish the semester strong,” she encouraged, fostering a culture of resilience and excellence within the school.

Thank you, Principal Wooding, for your dedication and leadership. Your passion for education and student success makes a lasting impact!
Happy Principals Month!
