Memphis, TN – October 4, 2024: Macon Hall Elementary School celebrated Custodian Appreciation Day, honoring the dedicated custodial staff who work tirelessly to keep the school clean and safe for students and staff. In a heartfelt gesture, all before-care students participated in creating personalized thank-you cards to show their appreciation.

This initiative recognized the often-overlooked contributions of custodians, highlighting their vital role in maintaining a positive and healthy learning environment. Students crafted colorful and thoughtful cards filled with messages of gratitude and admiration.

The cards were presented to the custodial staff during a special gathering, where students expressed their thanks personally. The event fostered a sense of community within the school and instilled values of respect and gratitude in the students.
