Julius Muse, Chief of Business Operations at MSCS, has shared his intention to resign from his position to prioritize providing support to his family during a challenging period following the passing of his mother.
"In light of my family's current circumstances, I must redirect my attention to their needs," expressed Julius Muse. “I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of this remarkable school district.”
Muse joined MSCS in 2022 to support enhanced efforts to address grounds and maintenance needs at all schools and continue building renovations and construction projects across the District.
The department's executive leadership team will support critical areas in Business Operations upon Muse's departure at the end of March.
"We wholeheartedly support his decision and appreciate his work to help improve our operational processes," said Interim Superintendent Toni Williams. "We have every confidence in his leadership team's ability to carry the operations work forward during this transition period."
