MSCS Celebrates The Class of 2023

Thousands of high school seniors turned their tassels and turned the page on their academic journey as Memphis-Shelby County Schools celebrated graduation for more than 30 high schools.

MSCS’ class of 2023 has had a historic high school journey; their freshman year ended with a global shutdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, they truly display what it means to #FinishStrong.

From Senior Salutes and the annual Scholars Celebration to Senior Spotlights, MSCS pulled out all the stops to ensure its 2023 graduates were honored with pride.

“Seniors, as you enter your next chapter of life, have confidence knowing that you can do anything in this world that you desire,” said Superintendent Toni Williams. “You will always be a part of the MSCS family. We are all rooting for you!”

Commencement ceremonies began on May 18 - and will continue through May 27. MSCS is making sure loved ones don’t miss a moment of the ceremonies by streaming every graduation live at scsk12.org/graduation2023
