Level 3 - new volunteers
May interact with students without direct supervision of school personnel.
- Watch the Volunteer Orientation Training Video:
- Complete your volunteer application in the volunteer management system and click finish at the end of the page.
- Schedule a ​volunteer fingerprinting appointment by calling 901-416-7600. The appointment will take place at the Board of Education - 160 South Hollywood St., Room 164.
Once you complete the fingerprinting process, the results will take between 7-10 business days. You will receive a phone call or an email from a FACE staff member with the results of your background check.
Level 3 - Renewals

Once you update your information in the volunteer management system, a criminal background check will be conducted via the web. The results will take between 3-7 business days. You will receive either a phone call or an email from a FACE staff member with the results of your background check.
