2011-12		PowerTeacher	If a teacher does not quit the gradebook and log out of the portal this message may be received the following morning. The work around (besides quitting each day) is to quit the browser and login again.	Karen	9/1/11
2011-12	Students have N/A in the Final Grade column	Gradebook	With the changing of schedules this becomes a problem. If the student enters after the grade setup has been completed by the teacher the N/A appears. The teacher should change the grade setup>save and change it back to the previous setting and save again.	Karen	8/25/11
2010-11	Homeroom conduct entered in Final Grade mode did not print on verification page	Gradebook	The teacher needs to complete the grade setup for Y1 and S1 in the Gradebook and change one score>save>change score back>save. If the grade setup was previously completed the teacher should complete the second half of the process.	Karen	10/11/10
2010-11	Students re-enrolled within the same section do not print properly on reports	Gradebook	This is a known issue within PowerTeacher Gradebook. When printing the Scoresheet report at the end of the term the teacher should write in the correct scores for their records.	Karen	10/6/10
2010-11	Conduct entered in Final Grade mode did not print on interim	Gradebook	Teacher did set up the S1 weighting. It was discovered that teacher had entered all assignments and conduct grades while filtered to the S1 term. The assignments scores did print because they have a date associated with them. The conduct grade has no date associated with it, just the term. The term must be set correctly before conduct is entered.	Kitty	9/20/10

2008-9	Teachers reporting being asked multiple times to change their password	PowerTeacher	In all cases the teachers reported using Safari. Switching to Firefox eliminated the problem.	Karen	4/14/09
2008-9	Teachers reporting inability to add assignments in some but not all classes.	Gradebook	Caused by duplicate enrollment of students created by the school. This issue will only be seen at the following schools: Germantown High, Arlington Middle, Jeter, Southwind High, Bartlett High, Germantown Middle, Mt. Pisgah, Riverdale, Bon Lin Middle and Arlington High. First check to see if a student in the class is listed twice. If so, the teacher will need to record grades on paper until Pearson resolves this issue.		10/27/08
2008-9	Teachers reporting inability to add assignments, Q1 grades disappearing and an error received when Grade Setup selected.	Gradebook	Software update for Java (1.5.0_16) was recently accepted and is not yet supported by Pearson. Trash the Java folder from Applications>Utilities. Replace it with the Java folder from another teacher station running the same OS that did not accept the update.	Duan	9/26/08

2008-9	Missing Assignment report will not print for a student selected from within a group. The report produces a blank page.	Gradebook	This has been submitted to Pearson for review. The workaround is to produce the report for the entire class and print only the pages you need.	Pam L.	9/10/08
2008-9	Students missing from homeroom "yellow book"	PowerTeacher	In the gradebook select Homeroom and go to grade set up. Select the Y1 term. Change the Y1 term to total points and save. Change the Y1 term back to term weights and save.		9/10/08
2008-9	Students have odd averages in classes using E,G,S,N,V grade scale	Gradebook	View the assignments for that student on the teacher portal. Check to see if an assignment has a value of 100. The teacher, at some point, changed the value to the correct setting. The change did not affect the historic scores only future scores. The scores for that assignment may need to be re-entered to change the average.		9/8/08
2008-9	The "yellow book" for Citizenship has no students listed	PowerTeacher	Complete the Grade Setup for the class in the gradebook.		8/15/08
2008-9	Unable to click and drag to form groups	Gradebook	Quit PTG and reopen. You do not need to log out of the PowerTeacher portal.		8/8/08
2008-9	Assignment will not save - Error advising "contact system admin"	Gradebook	Shorten the abbreviation for the assignment name. If this does not correct the problem then shorten the abbreviation for the chosen Category name (i.e. change Weekly Assignments to Weekly).		8/8/08
