District 1: Idlewild Teacher Receives Amazing Surprise and Recognition

A wave of excitement swept through Idlewild Elementary School on Wednesday as Ms. Stephanie Sacco, a dedicated kindergarten teacher, was honored by the Tennesseans for Quality Early Education foundation. In a heartwarming surprise, representatives from the foundation visited her classroom to present her with a check for $1,000, along with a shopping trip to Lakeshore Learning Store for essential classroom resources.

Ms. Sacco’s achievement is especially noteworthy considering she was selected from over 1,700 nominated educators across the state of Tennessee. Her commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for her young students has not gone unnoticed, and this recognition is a testament to her hard work and passion for education.

As part of the honor, Ms. Sacco will also travel to Nashville in November to join 19 other exceptional educators from across the state. This gathering will provide a platform for these inspiring teachers to connect, share ideas, and celebrate their contributions to early childhood education.

Idlewild Elementary School is proud to have Ms. Sacco as part of its teaching staff. Her innovative approach and unwavering dedication serve as a model for educators everywhere. Congratulations, Ms. Sacco! Your impact on your students and the community is truly invaluable.
