A broken water main in the area of Houston Middle School and Houston High School has forced the two schools to dismiss early today. Both schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Buses will be transporting students who receive district transportation. 

This decision was made in the interest of student safety. The broken water main caused a power outage at the two schools, and crews with the City of Germantown must shut off water supplies in the schools in order to repair the issues. Phone calls are being sent to parents at both schools to inform them of the early dismissal.
