For the first time ever, returning students do NOT have to register! We know how grueling it is to register year after year after year, so we're eliminating those headaches forever. 

Registration will only be required now for first-time SCS students who are brand new to the District. If you have a child in an SCS school now, the only thing you have to do each year is update his/her info if it changes. You can do this online using the new Year-Round Updates form in PowerSchool beginning March 25.

The Year-Round Updates form will allow you to edit your child's phone numbers, email addresses and address on file, which will automatically update the student's records in PowerSchool. Proof of residence will still need to be submitted at the school, as well as documentation of any changes in custody. But if your child has no updates all, you're all set until school starts!

• Currently attending an SCS K-12 school or Pre-K program; additional info required for Pre-K via the online update form in PowerSchool; includes students moving from elementary to middle and middle to high
   
• Current SCS students with approved or pending School Choice Applications (General Choice or Optional Schools); registration info updated automatically if application is approved
   
• Previously attended SCS, but most recent school was not an SCS school; updates to previous registration info made using the online updates form in PowerSchool
