The MSCS Office of Student Equity Enrollment & Discipline (S.E.E.D.) is hosting the Reflect, Reset, Restore Conference March 6-8, 2024. The Conference aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the factors that have led to current societal issues and structural inequalities. School leaders will participate in creative and innovative learning sessions aimed to increase a child’s ability to grow emotionally. Dr. Joy DeGruy, renowned scholar, and author of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, will serve as the keynote speaker for this momentous event.
Day 1 - Wednesday, March 6 - Audience/District and School Leaders
7:45am - Registration
8:15am - Conference Begins
9am - 12pm - Keynote Address/Dr. Joy DeGruy
12pm - 1:20pm- Lunch (we encourage conference participants prior to lunch to visit the student art gallery and student entrepreneurs on the 3rd floor of the UC)
1:30pm - 4:20pm - Afternoon Sessions
